Granny 2 is a survival horror game where players are trapped inside a new, larger house and must find a way to escape from Granny and her menacing accomplice.
In the original, players only had to evade Granny, while the sequel introduces Grandpa, who behaves differently. Unlike Granny, who is highly sensitive to sound, Grandpa has poor hearing but is much stronger and faster when he spots the player. The house is also significantly bigger, featuring multiple floors, secret passageways, and new escape routes, including a boat and an underground sewer system. Locked doors and reinforced barriers require multiple tools to open, forcing players to search thoroughly and remember key locations. Additionally, hidden traps, security cameras, and motion sensors can alert Granny and Grandpa to the player's presence, increasing the tension. Several playthroughs even introduce Slendrina, a ghostly figure that appears at unexpected moments, startling players.
