TetraDice is a unique puzzle game that challenges players to strategically place and combine dice blocks to clear the board and maximize their score.
In TetraDice, players start with an empty board with 8 rows and 8 columns. On the right side of the screen is the next block that the game offers along with help such as swap, hint, hammer, replace, or bomb. Each help will give you a unique ability to overcome challenging moves. The player's task is to drag the given block onto the board. The small squares that make up the block are distinguished by color and the number of dots on them. When 2 small squares of the same type are combined, they will disappear to create space for the board. The more squares of the same type are cleared simultaneously, the more points you score.
The gameplay of TetraDice is engaged with the objective of not matching the blocks in a line to clear them but players will arrange small square blocks of the same type next to each other and score points. You can also choose one of two game modes, Classic mode with a screen of 64 squares, and Adventure mode with challenges arranged to increase the game's difficulty.
Various in-game aids help players solve difficult situations. The Swap aid will help you change the shape of two blocks displayed while the Replace aid will give you a new block whose shape you will not know. The Smash or Bomb hint will help players remove one or more squares, clearing the board for new moves. If not want to change anything on the board, players can use the Hint to indicate a more reasonable arrangement. Besides TetraDice Block Blast Adventure is the same game type but with different gameplay. In this game, players arrange varied block shapes into lines and clear them to achieve high scores.
